Temperament: Raksha loves nothing more than to cuddle.  She scored highest on attentiveness to people, affinity for dogs, scent-following, resilience, stability, trainability, following and eye contact.  She is easily distracted by environmental factors, but is highly treat-motivated and very persistent when there are no things (like the cat) pulling her attention away. She is somewhat sensitive to sudden movements and more sensitive to unexpected loud noises.     Raksha would be a wonderful addition to a home with kids over 5.  Though she enjoys kids, the greater frequency of unexpected noises and movements from younger children daily might be overwhelming for her.  Children over 5 are more able to understand that those things are startling for her. She scored in the middle of the road for courage, learning speed, and retrieve desire. She is energetic and loves to play, but happy to cuddle and loves belly rubs.

Temperament: Akela is sweet and happy to cuddle.  He scored highest on attentiveness to people, trainability, learning speed, patience, resilience, and stability.  Without distractions, his focus on training is great, and he is persistent and engaged.  He is more likely to be distracted by environmental factors, like kids playing or the cat.  He is highly food motivated, but also accepts praise and play as rewards.  He scored in the middle of the road for energy, self-confidence, and problem-solving ability.  Akela has many of the traits of a therapy dog and would be a wonderful addition to a family who desires that temperament or may desire to train a therapy visitation dog.

Temperament: Baloo would love nothing more than to snuggle all day long.  If you want a lower-energy pup who will adore you and snuggle on the couch, you have found your companion!  Baloo scored highest on attentiveness to people, learning and problem-solving speed, patience, eye contact and following.  He scored in the middle of the road for trainability, self-confidence, and stability.  He is more sensitive to sudden movements and noises and needs a minute to adjust to new situations and assess things that move quickly or are unexpectedly noisy.  Baloo is highly food-motivated.  Baloo would do best in a home with kids over 10, but would be fine with younger kids visiting.  Living with younger children and the noises and quick movements that they bring will be tiring for him, but he likes to run and follow along once he feels safe.  He would make a great pup for grandparents or others who would have a quieter day-to-day. Baloo gives the best hugs and tucks his head onto your shoulder in the most endearing way.  You will fall in love with him at the first cuddle.

Temperament:  Mowgli loves to run and play, but he needs a minute to assess new things and situations.  He scored highest in attentiveness to people, learning and problem-solving speeds, eye contact, and following.  He scored in the middle of the road for trainability, energy level, resilience and task focus.  He is distractible by things going on around him and fairly sensitive to sudden movements and unexpected noises.  He would do best in a home with kids over 5 who would be able to understand that he needs a minute to observe before he feels ready to play.  Mowgli is fun and sweet and ready to find his family!
